1. Quick Chicken Fried Rice

This dish is a classic that's easy to prepare and can be customized with your favorite ingredients.

  • Ingredients: 2 cups cooked rice, 1 cup diced chicken, 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, bell peppers), 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 teaspoons sesame oil, green onions for garnish.

Instructions:

  1. Heat a large pan or wok over medium-high heat and add sesame oil.
  2. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned.
  3. Push the chicken to one side, crack the eggs into the pan, and scramble them.
  4. Once eggs are cooked, mix in the pre-cooked rice and vegetables.
  5. Pour soy sauce over the rice and stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes. Serve hot, garnished with green onions.

2. Spicy Shrimp Chow Mein

  • Ingredients: 8oz chow mein noodles, 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined), 2 cups mixed vegetables, 2 tablespoons oyster sauce, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon chili paste, and 2 cloves garlic (minced).

Instructions:

  1. Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions and drain.
  2. In a pan, heat oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink. Toss in the mixed vegetables.
  4. Add the cooked noodles, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and chili paste. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until everything is well combined.

3. Quick Beef and Broccoli

  • Ingredients: 1 lb beef (sliced thinly), 2 cups broccoli florets, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 2 cloves garlic (minced), 1 inch ginger (grated), and oil for frying.

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix beef with cornstarch and a tablespoon of soy sauce. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and stir-fry the beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add garlic and ginger to the pan, sauté for a minute, and then stir in the broccoli.
  4. Add water to steam the broccoli for about 3 minutes until tender. Return the beef to the pan, add remaining soy sauce, and mix well.

  • Ingredients: 1 lb chicken breast (cubed), 1 red bell pepper (cut into chunks), 1 cup pineapple chunks, 1/2 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup sugar, and 2 tablespoons ketchup.

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, heat oil and fry the chicken until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add bell pepper and pineapple, sautéing for about 2 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix vinegar, sugar, and ketchup, then pour this sauce into the pan. Add the chicken back in and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
